SPRINGFIELD, Ill. – State Rep. Camille Lilly, D-Oak Park, is standing with millions of Americans by sponsoring legislation which states the Illinois House of Representatives opposition to President Trump’s American Health Care Act.

“Illinoisans and their health must be put before big corporations and insurance companies,” Lilly said. “Healthcare should provide the necessary coverage and peace of mind for everyone, regardless of a pre-existing condition. There are too many instances of citizens having to choose whether or not they will get their monthly prescriptions or buy food to feed heir families. This is unacceptable. We have a responsibility to ensure that all Americans receive affordable healthcare regardless of any current condition they may have.”
